I posted an earlier question about college, and all the helpful people told me that I couldn't be forced to pay for college. Why is this case different? Just very confused and curious

Because there was no language in your divorce decree addressing it. The time to address it was then. But there was language in this OP's decree leaving the possibility open for college costs. It's irrelevant...this thread is from 2004. It's 2007.
