Her response on that thread:

"K so now you know.. but I have asked this question on various boards about my case in about as many different ways of wording it as I know how to and no-one and I mean no one as of yet has been able to give me any advice. None Zip - zippo... Im not sure which other way I can post it on any forum in hopes that someone could atleast give me a little insite. When I asked my family member they could only only say as far as I know ..it might be this way -they said it is a grey area. Plus they are in a total different state then wher my child support order is from. So therefore I am to assume this is a situation where I am out of luck and if he moves then.. I guess I give up and will quit chasing him since it has absolutely done very little if anything as far as collection since 1978 when we got divorced. I give up and will no longer even try. I feel I have been wasting my time all these years. I have been posting this type of question all over legal boards now for at least the last 6 months and some paid ones and NO ONE has even a little bit of advice for me.

P.S. I knew someone would mention the other post.. as I was prepared for it otherwise I would have changed my profile name. so no biggy I was expecting the response. "

I wonder -- why lie?? Makes no sense.

Who knows..

After reading it sounds like - she was desperate to have someone give some input no matter how little and was stuck between a rock and hard spot. You have to admit sometimes questions do get posted on boards and no one ever responds to them. I usually just read on the boards myself and learn, but. I guess I really don't blame them for trying to word it into a different way as to try and make sense so that someone might understand where they are coming from.

I guess if I posted the same type question for months on various boards and no one ever commented. I might get a bit creative in the wording also to try and stir up a response.

Sure sounds like a mess they have and who knows if they have any recourse to collect anymore on the arrears that is owed to them or not should the X move out of state.

I can say I did not have any helpful advice to give them, If I did I probally would have.

...and would that change any of the answers?

No.

She asked a HYPOTHETICAL.

We don't do those.

And THEN she told us that she already KNEW the answer.

Now really - what is the point of even posting?

So that tigi could be sarcastic, say otay Spanky and then ask her friend for a mimosa (even though it is not Tuesday):D
