What is the name of your state? IL

Right now I live in IL and am paying court ordered payment. I am moving to TX in the future. My question is the people o owe have already sent me in first class mail continued asset discovery citations which I guess they don't have to serve in person(makes no sense). But what happens when I move and they decide to send one and it get forwards to me in TX. They seem to do them every 3 months for some reason to see if my situation has changed. So will I have to come all the way back up here for it again or ? Thanks.

Thank you lady..do all judgements against me be redone in TX? Can I quit payments until the redo in TX or will they come and hunt me down in TX?

Judgments from your current state cannot be enforced in ANY other state w/o first domesticating the judgment to your new state. So, you could quit paying 'cause there's no way, immediately anyway, for them to force you to pay it. Wages can't be garnished in TX either, so they lost that threat altogether. Depends on how determined they are to get paid as to how long, or even IF, they get the judgment(s) moved to TX in order to enforce collection.
