My boyfriend is constantly being harrassed by his ex wife (divorce was final 1 1/2 years ago). She has anxiety issues and is on medication for it. Today alone she has called him ten times in one hour and left one message since he did not answer his phone. She makes inappropriate comments about items he purchases saying that he isn't taking care of the kids, only spending money on himself. He pays more then he was calculated to for his child support but she keeps telling him she is going to take him to court. Does a restraining order have to be done to keep her at bay or isn't she in violation of the divorce agreement saying that all communication will be about the kids only?

There are 2 sides of every issue and in this case it is between the two parents. You need to step back and let them handle it, also remember what you are observing could happen to you if you decide to marry. They may indeed have vaild child related issues, you are only getting his side and his non response may feed the cycle of her anxiety, continuing the same game that went on in their marriage and divorce. Don't get in the middle of it he probably enjoys all the attention he is getting from both of you.

He can file a complaint for harrassing communications against her-IF she is causing the phone to ring for NO LEGITIMATE purpose.

Otherwise as you were told-this really is not your concern.

I have been with him when he gets the calls and when comments are made, although all over the phone, I also hear it from his kids. I am staying out of it, he just asked me to check into some advice for him since he doesn't have access to a PC
