Hello,

I've been looking over papers cause my father may file for perement residency for me, but I have a queston, I have had a green card in the past (1996-1997) but was through the sponsership of my My mom's EX Husbend,After my mom divorced her EX husbend we moved back to Canada voluntery (then later met an american 4 yrs later). On the I-130 it asks the queston "Has the relative ever been under immigration proceedings?" Im thinking yes, after that is askes for the date, and where it was filed at..no problem, BUT it gives three opitions "Removal" "Excusion/Deporation" "Recission" "Judicial Proceedings"? I don't understand them and I dunno what applies for me?, I've never been deported and abanned my perment residency along time ago, Is it something you leave blank, attach a piece of paper explaining what happened or do you put down "NO".

If someone can help me ASAP that would be great.

Thanks.

Put down YES - because that's the truth, don't mark the other q (with the 4 options), instead, attach a letter with explanation (mark on the form "see attached letter". They'll figure it out.

You have NOT been in "immigration proceedings". As I understand it, that term has a very specific legal meaning (aka been to court).
You are required to reveal your previous A#, and you should find a place, or include a sheet to put the information that you were previously a PR.

By including your old A#, they can look up your old history.
