Racial Derogatory Term. What can I do?

I live in Connecticut and I am not sure what to do in this situation, I'll try to keep the story brief as much as I can: About a month ago we scheduled a cable company to set up our internet and TV service at our house. One technician came up and said he could only do the TV and he left the house. A second technician came and started setting up the Internet service. Technician number 2 called tech number 1 on the walkie-talkie and asked him why couldn't he finish both the TV and the internet. As Technician 1 was explaining why he coudln't do the job he used a racial derogatory term towards us. My wife was standing next to him and she heard the comment. Tech 2 was appalled and immediately called his supervisor. The supervisor called us and asked what he could do to make it better. My wife responded "you will get something from me in writing". We haven't contacted them in writing but I did contact the cable company and placed a verbal complaint. Nothing has been done so far.What is the name of your state?

O.k. and the term was what?

And that is a good employee.
The supervisor called us and asked what he could do to make it better.
Very responsible company policy.

Your wife is a fool.

If I were the company, and received anything from you I would not respond either. I would forward any correspondence to my in-house counsel and let THEM deal with your wife.:rolleyes:

So basically you are saying there is nothing we can do? This is not worth pursuing?
