I've been reading the advice given on this site for a while now, I just wanted to comment that I feel one lawyer on here is a real standout, LdiJ.
There are a few on here that are just trying to feed their own egos, and if they had the balls, they would go out and try their insults in person, rather than cowardly hiding behind the computer screen.
That's not to say there aren't others here that give good advice, I'm sure there are.
I'm not a lawyer, so many here will find that I'm not qualified to speak, but I would like to hear from non-lawyer others about which advisers have really helped.

I appreciate the compliment however, as the other's told you I am not an attorney. I am an accountant and a professional tax consultant who happens to have quite a bit of layman's knowledge of law, particularly in business, tax and family law areas.

I have formal education in business and tax law, and in property issues, even those that surround divorce because they overlap tax law. However I am self-educated where family law is concerned and I can only claim true expertise in the area of third party visitation and those issues regarding constitutional rights. That education comes from reading case law by the thousands and having a truly expert attorney as a mentor.

You are on an internet forum here. You are going to get all kinds of different advice, from all kinds of perspectives. Some of it is going to be biased or slanted to the outcome that the poster believes is morally correct. Some of it will be more neutral. However, the best way for you to take all of the advice is to let it teach you what you need to ask questions about to your attorney, or what you should research more.

Out of curiosity is your degree from one of these schools: St. Regis University, James Monroe University or Robertstown University?
