It never says that I said that to her. If the law operated on assumptions, that might work, but last I knew you had to have hard evidence of any thing like that. I would never try to make my daughter feel bad about herself.

whoever said it had to be "hard evidence"... and you are right, it doesnt say you said that to her... But it doesnt say you didnt either.... So it leaves room for it to be questioned.

You want him tested for drugs at your request right? Where is your evidence to show he needs to go thru those...

I suppose I don't have any. I can't request such a thing? I've seen him do drugs in the past. Does that count for anything?

Or he's too busy partying it up with his friends and getting stoned. We can all make assumptions at this point.
Yep. And we who have responded can ASSume with the best of them. However, none of us advisors are planning to trot our assumptions in front of the Court.

So was I only supposed to leave if my house, everything I own and all of my family were gone? I was planning on moving in with him in the coming months anyways, this was just an opportunity.
A golden one. (Hmmm...where have I heard THAT phrase before?) Why didn't you own up to that in your very first post, and leave the disingenuous "whole downtown is under water" hand-wringing bit out?

It was my first time back in YEARS. The last time I worked for this company was before I was pregnant. I was being praised by one manager, and hated by another. You don't know what was going on, stop making accusations, as you DONT KNOW THE WHOLE STORY. Nor do you even deserve to know at this point.
Cue the FA theme music.

I've been working consistently since my daughter's been born (well, after the first 6 weeks anyway). I can't say the same about him. And implying that my fiance is my "sugar daddy" is ignorant on your part, since YET AGAIN!!!! You don't know the whole story.
We neither need to nor care to know your whole story. And no judge will care, either. S/he will entertain ONLY relevant facts and proof related to your petition (or to his petition, if the father files first). You have thus far done a woeful job of presenting the former, and you have yet to demonstrate that have ANY of the latter.

If you think WE are a tough sell, you haven't a prayer of accomplishing your legal objective.

I would love for her to show her daddy how smart she is. He doesn't care, though. At least, not that he's ever shown.
Many parents do a poor job of showing their children that they care and still manage to retain parental rights.

What behavior are you referring to? Me wanting to move somewhere that my child will be well taken care of and I can constantly teach her new things? I hope my behavior comes into question, as I've done nothing wrong.
You can't take care of your child or teach her anything in Iowa? The EDUCATION state? Shoot, you should've moved to my home town, tied with New Haven, Connecticut (home of Yale University) for city with the most post-graduate degrees per capita.

Let him pee in a cup. Give him a blood test. That should be proof enough. Or do the courts not do that sort of thing when a child's well-being is at risk?
No one is going to hand him a cup or sample his blood just on your say-so. And a judge will order drug testing only if there is a legal need to do so. Again I say: where is your PROOF? Did you phone DHS when daughter allegedly returned with marijuana in her diaper bag? Did police seize the "evidence" and process it to rule out the possibility that you or someone else planted it there?

Marcia Clark had stronger evidence of O.J.'s guilt and still lost. But that was a criminal case; yours is not. A fact you seem to be missing.

IMO

I can give you another example... You would be surprised how things can be twisted around when someone has a goal...

Your comment about sending friends away and "it's not like I didn't want to. It's that I couldn't. I just couldn't deal with everything...." also this comment - "I'm tired of being so moody and I wish I could control it"

Now I know vindictive parents that would run with that one!!! In a sense you are making comments that could be used to say you are not mentally stable. Not saying you are not, but your comments can be used to question that. Someone might try to use it as proof that you need to go thru a psych eval.

You wanted to know how blogs could be used against you. Once you give an impression it might be hard to get it reversed. While an impression and opinions cant be used, written words are different. (Altho that does lead to interpretation ?s and such)

That reminds me of something (sorry to stray from topic...) You know the mother of my fiance's two kids actually looked at us and told us we were being "childish" cause we play with the children when we take them to the park!! LMAO.... I still make jokes about that one every day... What's wrong with being a kid at heart and having fun with them instead of sitting like a lump on the bench??!??!!!?

Sorry just had to share that when it came to mind...
