What is the name of your state? NEW YORK

My contract with a realtor ended 2 weeks ago. She was incompetent and did absolutely nothing to sell the house and I'm glad to be rid of her. When the contract ended, I sent her an e-mail saying that I'm taking the house off the market for now and I'd like her to come and remove the sign and the lock box, but she still hasn't done that. I know she read the e-mail because I got a receipt back. I also called, but she's hard to get in touch with so I left a message on her voice mail. Is there anything else I can do? Should I contact her broker?

**A: you can contact her broker or you can do what I did once.
I pulled out the sign and threw it in the trash and I hacksawed the lockbox and delivered it the the real estate agent's office.

LOL!! That's great! I had thought of doing the same thing, but wasn't sure if I'd get in some sort of legal trouble for destroying property or something. I have a new realtor who is very competent and has a great reputation, but she's afraid of the former realtor and is reluctant to get involved until the sign and lock box are removed.
