What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MA
I recently submit an application with my bank to refinance...they are asking for a copy of my complete divorce decree? is this standard operating procedure? His name is on the current loan and he wanted to take it off but the court ordered that his name stay on the current loan. I have not been ordered to refinance by the court.... is this a violation of my rights? thank you

The bank wants to make sure that you were awarded the house in the divorce. The only way the bank can verify that is by your divorce decree. Of course, that is assuming that I understood your post correctly, it was a little confusing.

ty for your answer, they decided they did not need my divorce papers because I had already submit the deed to the property signed over by the ex.
