What is the name of your state? Texas

I'm 21 and was I.d.'d at a local bar. I was told that my D.L. picture didn't look like me, I had a shaved head when the picture was taken, and was told to show it to two police officers standing there who said there was no way they could verify it (typical), and it was up to the guy at the door. I then showed the guy at the door my university I.D., a London transportation I.D., an international student card all with the same information, and an expired drivers license. Now I know anti-discrimination laws wouldn't apply here so what do I have, another case of legal idiocy? Would there be any other route to force them to let me in assuming I went back or would their right to refuse service cover them. Just wondering so when I call the manager I have some extra leverage so I can get those free drinks I'm after.

Here's another one IAAL and BB.

There must be a full moon.

Hang in there, bar boy. Someone will come along shortly.

You could always shave your head to match your license.

WHAT THE F**K do you think this country is, a haven for drunks, limies and nerdowells?

Go back to London if you don't like it or get another damn ID. the bartender and the doorman were well within their rights to kick your skinhead ass out the door, ID or not.

GEEEZ what a waste of DNA.

You shaved your head. You had no hair on your head. Therefore, unless your skull was exposed, you had skin on your head...ergo "SKINHEAD".

Now, where is that wrong?

Well technically it WAS shaved not bald, most "skin heads" are bald and was done so as part of the military college's regs. Secondly, I've lived in America all but three months so I think I have a good idea what its about. Finally, the handle may be misleading my friend.

Merely a rebuttal to Belize’s apparent belief I was a foreigner, although that would be great as I could take that one to the bank on the way to getting the free drinks.

The funniest part about BB's posts are that in his rush to be witty, he often forgets to answer questions, which may be why we find him here. Great advice, I appreciate it BB. I guess that's why it's free. If anyone else would like to answer how I rectify this situation so that I'm not prevented from going inside indefinitely and wheter or not that would be legal, I would appreciate it.

The bar is well within their rights to refuse to serve you or allow you into their establishment. You have no case. Find another bar to patronize.

Now I'm just curious. So generally, a business can refuse to serve even if they don't have any reason that would affect the operation of their business? Is there varying state case law on this?

They did have a reason. They questioned the validity and authenticity of your I.D. That's not discrimination, that's protecting their liquor license.
