Rental Property we are renting is being foreclosed

What is the name of your state?We are renting a home from an individual, and he has not paid the mortgage since June 1st, 2004; and consequently the house is in Full Foreclosure.

We have a lease thru the end of July 2005, if the house is foreclosed on by the bank, is the person/persons legally obligated to honor our lease and allow us to reside here until then. Or, will we be evicted once the property is foreclosed on.

We live in DuPage County, Addison Illiois.

**A: bad news, as the foreclosure Trustee appointed by the court has a right to terminate your lease. This is one of the few situations whereby a fixed lease would not be enforceable.

Lease

My landlord is not paying the mortgage, and the house we are renting is in foreclosure. Am I still obligated to pay on this lease, and am I obligated to stay in the lease, when it is in foreclosure, or does his not paying the mortgage and the property being in pre-foreclosure terminate the lease and am I free to go.
