Uh-uh not a typo, not possible. "R" and "C" are not next to/above or below each other on the keyboard. Plus, you made the same mistake twice - that doesn't happen with typos. (Anyway, haven't you ever heard of proofreading?)
And OK, maybe you're not petty enough to edit your post after your error was pointed out (but hey! you wouldn't have been able to anyway after I quoted your errors), however you are petty enough to call the error a "typo" when it so clearly isn't. Why not just man up and admit you don't know as much about the English language as you've been boasting about (and not nearly as much as some of us here)?
Wow. There's no pleasing you is there?
As I said before, I am human. And when I'm not writing novels, yes, I use some slang on forums.
The term was not incorrectly used twice.
By typo I meant I used the wrong word. Easy to do when typing quickly and thoughts are racing through your mind.
I explained to you why the fact was even brought up in the first place, a very valid reason.
If you want to continue to argue over something so petty, continue with someone else please. I only posted on this topic to offer advice and then someone else tried to pick apart my post that made perfect sense.
I have marked posts when I edit them as well. So again, if you want to keep on with petty jabs then be my guest.
I have already expressed my feelings and that I was never intending to be rude to anyone. If you still believe that I am, that's on you. I don't really care.
If you want to discuss this further from a calm and communicative perspective, great. But if you just want to keep throwing insults and picking apart my posts, I guess we're done.
EDIT:
When I said argue over semantics for fun, that's exactly what I meant. Not "argue over semantics for
legal purposes."
If the point was valid, I would have agreed. But my post was clear enough already, the jab was simply to debate.
To point this out to me just proves my point that people on this forum simply like to argue, because if you read my post, you'd understand the situation and why I posted the way I did.
