Hello,

12 months ago I was terminated from my employer after 7 years without notice following a Discipline Procedure as per company policy.

The outcome was an utter shock and I went through the appeal process with no change in my termination.

Although I have re-gained employment, I did have a tough time getting a new job and believe it was due to the Termination.

I want to try and get my previous employer to alter the terms of my leaving from Termination to Resignation, either officially or un-officially.

Im wondering what the best way to go about this would be? I am thinking of writing a letter to them, we left on good terms considering what happened and I have a feeling they may be sympathetic to my proposal. I am prepared to share the letter.

Kind Regards
