Make sure you wash your clown outfit. You know your boss hates getting complaints from the kids that your skidmarks havn't been washed. :D

Akuma - Thank you for your blessing for my family and your positive spirit.
It is much appreciated.

BIG WIG WITH THE PARTY TO PREP - For your entertaiment, should my fate be as dire as you hope, I will post the news, for your gloating pleasure. If the judge locks me up and throws away the key on Nov. 8 as you predict, I'm sure I'm allowed to call my children, I have them pass it on for your amusement.

Sorry, darlins - no big wig here. Just a Mom soon to be inundated with 10-13yo's ready to party. None of the other folks want the bother, so they all come here. Works for me.

Read more of your posts?

I'm still "shell-shocked" from reading the many, many posts in this thread!

Reflecting on "all" the word of wisdom and (?contructive criticism?) you dished out is plenty, at least for today!

So has all this chasing after each other's butts helped your problem??
After reading every sorry post, it's clear that all of you have been mean in one way or another to someone, so no one deserves to pound their chest with proud. There's a meany in everyone apparently........... :)

No one here is going to know for sure what the judge will do to you next time. Fact is, you didn't comply with his decision last time(anyone can get a temp job at fast food joint, sweeping streets, cleaning, work in a grocery store etc etc, so poordom isn't an excuse for ignoring financial responsibilities), so chances are he's not going to be happy to have to deal with you again. This time he might come down harder on you since the last punishment had no effect on you.

If I ever wanted to hurt someone, I wouldn't trash their car(this is the land of insurance and civil suits), that person would just have a new car probably the very next day and be thankful to you for making that happen for them (that's where the laughing comes in).

You are right that money doesn't necessary buy you happiness and if you're poor you can't have many kids, but money buys you a lot of security, comfort and opportunities that would make your life eons better, and isn't that something extraordinary great to aspire to give your kids? Love alone, no matter how much, in a family doesn't pay the bills, rent/morgage, insurances, education, clothes, food, medicines, transportation, toys, furniture etc. We all want better for our kids than what we had and be excellent role models of improvement, achievement aand pride for our kids don't we? For example, you didn't have money for what the judge ordered you to pay, so therefore you are back in court with possibly worse punishment, now how is that benefiting your kids? It would have been in their best interest if you had gotten at least a temp job somewhere in order to pay this and maybe even make their life a little more comfortable with more money coming into the home.
Being happy is a right for every human and animal in the world, but that doesn't mean that everyone is entitled to college, have someone else pay for it and support you and family during if it means you will neglect vital and current problems that effects your family's well being and happiness. People can be happy without a fortune in the bank, but they still have to have money to eat and pay their way, just like everybody else. I'm sure once you have the $60.000 a year salary you won't want to trade back to the old times! Being poor is not necessarily forced upon anyone, especially not in the US, you can make at least end meat doing something. And having enough kids to be able to provide them with a secure and comfortable childhood is also voluntary. Kids cost money, so if there is no money, it's considerate to think twice before having more kids than you can afford.

Good luck in court, I hope it works out fairly well, for the sake of all those kids.

Does anyone understand today's economy? I do want to set an example for my childen and want better for them. What I want for them is peaceful living and high self esteem. I can't think of a better example to set for my kids than to see thier parents go to college. Both my husband and I are the first in our families to go to college and the first to graduate high school. We always told our kids that they were going to college, but they were just words. Now we have set the example. We are a family of seven, lets crunch numbers folks, a mininum wage job would never make us self sufficient.

My children are 15, 13, 8, 7 and 5, guess what when I had them I could afford them. My husband was employed for our city for over 18 years. The trials and tribulations in life and how you handle them is what makes you a great person.

As for the laughable car bashing comment....any rational person would recognize that it was not premeditated and for two seconds in time, my emotional pain took control. If you can't understand that, good luck in times of trouble.

Sorry I even bothered to bring the thread back to it's original issue. Should have left you all trashing each other and calling yourselves mature. Close this thread and this suffering will be over.

Have a good one

Good idea!

In closing, the good news is that over 400 viewed and were possibly entertained by my life.

Doesn't feel good to feel good about yourself. A look into the life and times of a "loser parent, wife and human" will surely keep you sleeping at night confident that you are doing life right.

Thanks for the interest, even though most didn't offer any of the things my original post requested "advice, guideance or support!

COURT FINALLY OVER ***************************UPDATE!!!

Just so all you "opinionated" posters can judge your legal expertise.............

Ordered to pay restitution in full by date 2/1 or face possible jail sentence of up to one year (maximum original sentence).

At court date 2/1, had not paid restitution (lien on hubby's retirement, to be released in two weeks). Judge indicated suspedended jail sentence reinstated immediately. Public defender explained lien situation. Judge said if I plead guilty to violation of probation for failure to pay rest....six weeks to pay restitution. Judge ordered rest. due 3/15, show proof 3/21

3/21 court date, Judge called name...asked if paid, amount and to look at receipt. Stated "Probation Terminated, Congratulations!"

So, check yourselves....all you posters who fill those seeking advice with fear! You do little good!!!!
:( Shame on you! :(
