ok just to reinforce what you guys / girls have already told me:

the mother cannot have an adoption reversed correct?

adoption has only been final for about 6 months or so. not sure if bio-father was served in person or not, but publications were sent out. nothing was ever sent back so after a certain amount of time the state granted the adoption process finale. mother thinks cause she'll just get a slap on the wrist. says she knows the judge (??) and can get it overturned.

thanks

I would think that its highly unlikely that the mother could have the adoption reversed, (although since state law varies quite a bit I am unwilling to state that its absolutely impossible since such a short time has passed) however there is a chance that the biological father, should he come back into the picture fairly quickly, could have the adoption reversed if he was never actually served (if it was service by publication).

While the answers that you have received here are likely correct, I would recommend getting a consult with a local adoption attorney to be certain.

There has been more than one, pretty famous cases out there where that has happened.
