What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
I'm on the Board of a Condo Association in Ohio. Our Declaration and the Ohio Revised Code for Condominium Properties allow us to require owners to provide us with names, addresses, phone numbers and employer information of owners and occupants. The only information regarding advance notice is that owners must provide the names of the tenants and the time during which the lease shall be in effect (in rental situations) prior to the commencement of the lease. I have 3 questions. Can the Board require an owner to provide the Board with:
1) a notice of intent to sell or lease his unit?
2) a copy of the sales contract or the rental agreement?
3) the asking price, final sales price and/or rental price?

Short of going through the process of changing the by-laws, which is almost certainly not done at the whim of the board, no you can not.
