What is the name of your state?
I live/work in Minnesota. I am currently being paid a salary twice a month, same amount each time. However, if I miss an hour or two of work for personal, sick or vacation time they take that hour or two out of my accrued personal, sick or vacation time...whichever is appropriate. I was under the impression that Salaried employees can only have their sick, personal and vacation time taken when it is a full day of work that is missed. In that respect, they are treating my time as hourly. To me, this doesn't seem right. I don't care if I am salaried or hourly, but I would like my time off to coordinate accordingly. Any advise would be much appreciated.
