Here's what I guess I don't understand - why would a parent be upset that the school contacted the child's physician to double-check what they should do? And yes, the doctor's office should have been the one to ask the appropriate questions if information wasn't complete.

The thing to do, IMO, is to contact the school and ask that there be a conference call with his doctor so that all of you are on the same page wrt how to react to potential problems. Not to get all pissy because someone didn't know what information to offer.

Not upset with the school about contacting the doctor. Im upset that they did not follow the 504 plan. Then they didn't give the doctor the correct information for example when his last injection was. Conference call with doctor... doctor would not be open to this.

Then get a new doctor that would be.

It is really the DOCTOR's responsibility to request this information prior to suggesting a course of action. You're barking up the wrong tree.
