What is the name of your state? Michigan
In November I purchased an item from a seller on Ebay. As of Mid December I had not received the item and filed for a refund. My request was investigated and I received the refund. In the process my daughter found an item that was almost identical to the non received item and purchased it for me.I had it for a couple of months and decided that I would sell it on auction. Now the seller is sending me threat emails stating that I re sold her item after she refunded and that she wants her money back or else she will try to have me prosecuted. She has had other people in my auction account, they are sending me emails and posting on message boards.I just ask for advice on what to do.The item was under 34.00 total.

"I just ask for advice on what to do."
*** What to do about what??? Your post is NOT clear on what, if anything, you want to do.

I do not feel that they have any grounds to ask for a refund. They are assuming that the item I sold and the item I never received from them are one and the same.....that is not so. But I have others and this seller emailing me saying that when they put the 2 coat pictures on photo shop they are the same.......no they are not but they are the same brand, design and color.....I guess Abercrombie and Fitch only made 1 of the coats!! It has me frustrated and I do not know what to do. I emailed the seller and stated that it was not the same coat and they continued to accuse me and demand a refund to them. With all of the problems that they have caused by contacting other Ebay sellers etc..I asked that they remove the negative feedback and that to stop the harassment I would just send them the 25.00 coat cost not the shipping. They said either all of it or they would turn me for fraud! How can they do this when Paypal has already investigated and said that they had to refund my money??I hate to do that but just want the childish accusations to stop! And I really felt lucky when my daughter found a coat like the one I had wanted so badly! HA.

My response:

Well, isn't that a coincidence?

You're going to get "fried".

And when you sent them a copy of the reciept provided by your daughter, what did they say?

And I was going to suggest the same thing..... once the writer clarified what THEY wanted to do..

My response:

And, why do you guys think that wasn't, or shouldn't have been, obvious to our writer in the first place?

Do you think it could be that our writer is, in fact, a thief? I think so.

Because I've seen much denser people requesting advice here. As much as it pains me, there are some REALLY stupid people out there.

Quite possible that the OP DID thieve the seller. But, that is partly the seller's fault for not using a trackable shipping method. I learned that in eBay 101...
