I settled a legal entanglement 'with prejudice'...does that mean I can pursue appeal/action at a later time? It was an ERISA case decided in CA (if that makes any difference)

My response:

If you settled "with prejudice", that means you have agreed to waive, and forever settle, all future claims, and you have waived any right to appeal. In other words, the entire matter is all over - - forever.
