My third-eldest nephew has been dx with Asperger's since he was a very young teen. I also took care of my late husband throughout his entire disability until he died.

I tried to explain this to a person who was on the president's council on such matters in the Clinton administration and on the Governor's committee on such matters in the Davis administration (CA) and numerous other arenas of people who know of such things, and she tilted her head at me with a quizzical look.
