What is the name of your state? OH

Upon moving in a new apartment it was noticed that there was a spot in the floor that it no longer supported by plywood. This is not a soft spot, it appears that the only thing that keeps us from going through the floor is the carpeting. We contacted the rental company several times, and its been two months with no action. this spot is getting worse, I am a broke college student and cannot afford to move. However I am concerned about someone (including me getting hurt). What can I do? Please include as much detail as possible.
