What is the name of your state? Wisconsin
OK I have another question? In which case would I get in more trouble. With an OWI OR by lying to an officer??? What consequences can come with lying to an officer. Cuz I'm getting an OWI for getting in to an accident. I told the cop I was driving but I wasn't. So I'm wondering if I were to tell the truth when I got to court if I will get in more trouble for lying than I'm going to with the OWI??? What should I do should I tell the truth or just continue to take the rap and get the OWI and fines????

No offense, but when you go to court trying to tell the judge it wasnt't you after all...he's heard it a million times.

FUEL - Innocent Lyrics
Satan, you know where I lie
Gently I go into that good night
All our lives get complicated
Search for pleasures overrated
Never armed our souls
What the future would hold
When we were innocent
Angels, lend me your might
Forfeit all my lives to get just one right
All those colors long since faded
All our smiles are confiscated
Never were we told
What the future would hold
When we were innocent

This prayer is for me tonight
This far down that line and still ain't got it right

And while confessions not yet stated
Our next sin is contemplatd
Never did we know
What the future would hold
Or that we'd be bought and sold
When we were innocent

Oh my. If we're comparing song lyrics to this post, I suppose...

When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree,
there will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see,
there will be an answer. let it be.

Let it be, let it be, .....

And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light, that shines on me,
shine until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music, mother Mary comes to me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, .....

Hmm, Joe's got a great point. You're equally screwed.

On one hand, the OWI charge (assuming it is your first) will run you $784.00, an alcohol assessment, and a MAJOR insurance increase. On the positive side of things, it's not criminal.

On the other hand, an obstructing charge is a criminal offense which you could sit jail time for.

You need a shovel or do you think you've dug yourself a deep enough hole?
