What is the name of your state? AR

I'm from CA, but I previously posted regarding my ex-SIL who was arrested in AR on multiple drug (meth) charges (possession, intent, para. for manu.)....

Well, Friday, the judge ruled that she could be released on a "signature release" contigent upon enrolling in Rehab. The release requires 2 signatures (her own and 1 other person).

The soonest Rehab opening there is April 15 (go figure!...it's AR!) :-)

What I would like to know is what is the 2nd person's signature for? What is their obligation/liability for signing? Can one of her druggie friends just sign?
Will she have to sit in the slammer until the opening in Rehab on 4/15 (we're hoping!)? Does anyone know...how long is Rehab?.....And what kind of rules does one have to follow in Rehab ordered by the court...is it strict?

Thanks for any insight.

The ONLY contact I have with Arkansas is they have a lot of my money because I was speeding!

BUT, leave her where she is until rehab date. You cannot control her behavior and if you sign to be responsible for her until she goes to rehab, you will be in big trouble if she screws up (and she will screw up).

Thanks...

Thanks for the info....I have NO INTENTION of signing! I hope she does stay where she is AND I hope she does screw up! Her kids will have a much cleaner, stable life without her.....a much more normal life. Thanks.
