What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

i'm a substitute teacher for a county in Georgia. An administrator at a school where I subbed reported to my HR supervisor that i slept through all three class periods on march 12 of this year and i will be terminated if i receive one more complaint from anyone. I didn't sub at that particular school on the 12th. I did sub on the 11th but only had two class periods; and, i have certainly never slept on the job. she apparently has me confused with somebody else. However; my HR super said the report cannot be removed or amended because any reports submitted on substitute teachers is considered the "gospel" and there is no appeal process. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

**A: that gospel part is pure BS. Presuming you work for a public school system.

Speak with the administrator of the school and clear up the matter with her. Then have her amend her report.

That strikes me as completely absurd. So if I worked in a school you sub'd in or even a school where you'd NEVER sub'd, I could report that you showed up on [pick any date] in an evening gown and danced the tango with the janitor in the school lunchroom at noon with a rose clenched between your teeth and it would be considered gospel - no questions asked??? That's ridiculous.

I agree with Quincy - contact the school administer or whomever else you need to speak with in management and get this cleared up.
