quincy, actually it's not the "same" way. It would take tremendous financial resources to travel to his state and county, not to mention the legal fees. There must be another way. YouTube just needs to abide by their own rules.

Yes, it is the same way. You file suit in the appropriate court and go from there. Your concerns with travel expenses have nothing to do with how to sue a person.

Then the answer is to file suit in the appropriate court.

The YouTube video was apparently targeting a California resident and it was viewable by those in California. A California court can be found to have jurisdiction.

But filing suit in either California or the videographer's state will essentially be the same.

If Ted's goal is simply to have the video removed, I can provide him with some possible ways to accomplish that. He will need to answer my original questions.

And then I will have to decide if I want to help him.

Yes I did and if my home ever reaches 65 degrees I’ll turn down the thermostat. Due to poor insulation my furnace is having trouble keeping up in the current outside temps of -15 and dropping.

It is unbearably cold here, too. I have a stack of firewood if our gas and our electric heat sources fail. And in my head I have figured out what of our furniture to burn if it gets to that. There is no way I am going outside to cut more wood.

Would it be terrible of me to tell you the current temp here is a "chilly" 59...Tomorrow will be in the high 60's.

Interestingly I saw only one or two bee's in the summer/fall...but in the last month they are all over the place.

Actually I would still accept the current temps (near all time record lows) if the alternative was over 100 degree summer days.

I can always put on more clothes but when it comes to taking them off, well, it doesn’t take long before everybody is saying

I have not had any real reason to hate the cold yet because I am not forced to be out in it. I generally don't mind winter. But I definitely prefer summer.

Unless your working outdoors it really isn't that bad. 110 degrees w/ 7-10% humidity feels like 80ish. Plus we have the wind chills...

Thirty and forty and fifty below zero wind chills is really unbelievable. We are supposed to be back up to 40 degrees this weekend.

My work is often outdoors and I would still prefer to work in sub freezing temps over 100 degree temps

Last December I was working in near 0 temps, outside. Quite chilly but if you dress apprpriately it’s survivable. Hot weather just beats the stuffing out of me.

In fact I went to the store a bit ago and it was quite comfortable to me. There is no wind at the moment so being dressed appropriately, I was fine.

I had initially worn a balaclava and even wind goggles but once I got outside they both came off

Thank goodness...Are the cities/towns making sure the homeless have a warm place to go?
