What is the name of your state?texas. At what point should I contact a lawyer for a slip and fall injury at the workplace? If so, what is the time frame I need to do this in?My slip and fall at the workplace was reported the morning it happened. My job sent me to a medclinic by ambulance for my back. The workplace clinic gave me a release back to work for the next day on modified duty after the doctor saw me for five minutes. I sought the help of my own doctor who then put me out of work because of my back injury. I am currently recieving workers comp. I had a slip and fall due to a wet floor. Do I have a case?

First off was the slip and fall injury reported at time of incident?
Also in most states if the injury was not reported at the time of incident you usually have 72 hours to report it, but in this case they may not believe you since it was not reported at time of injury...
Now about a lawyer are they paying your doctor bills? how serious is/was the injury, what was the reason for the slip and fall? these are things you should consider before contacting a lawyer...
Lawyers sometimes will consult with you for free and others might charge you...
If you decide to get a lawyer they can take up to %20-%25 of your settlement or your weekly work comp checks on a contingity fee...
