i received custody of my son on sept.28 00,dhr was involed so the judge ordered them to do home visits for 6months.i had gave temp. custody to my 2nd cousin in jan.99,because dhr said they were going to take me to court and try to take my son away, and if i let a family member keep him we wouldnt have to go and he would just be there for a short period until i got on my feet again.they lied!we went to court they said my son was a dependent child.cousin ends up fighting me in court, tries to get permanant custody, have my rights terminated, but judge dosent let her have any of these things.after a long battle my cousin gives up and told court she wanted out of it and wanted child back with me.judge agreed, gave her visitation rights and said for dhr to do home vists for 6 mon.then the case is to be closed.my question is does dhr still have the right to bother me even though the 6 months is up and the judge closed the case?why does my cousin have visitation rights?will i always have to allow her to see my son?this case was really messed up and the dhr has done me awful,do i not have the right to tell them to leave me alone? emily
