Tell the guy you will take the truck back in the same condition in which is was sold, running. You didn't blow up the engine, he did.
Thank you

There is no way you could have legally conveyed this vehicle in a title transfer to the buyer who blew the engine.
You were committing tax fraud.
Don't sit on titles and flip vehicles
BTW the buyer was a dummy to not notice this was not your title, but it is still your fraud.
Wow.. Don't know why it posted the one thread twice. However, I am very thankful for all of your responses to my question as this has been stressing me out so badly since Saturday. I feel like a major criminal...... I have one more question what are the odds of me being able to just pay for the title issues beings I have a bill of sale from when I bought the truck?? And if I were able to settle the title issues is the rest history due to the fact that I have an as is signed bill of sale from the buyer that blew up my truck?? Or is there a severe worse case senario??? I ask simply because my drama would unfold over a holiday were I am unable to contact an attorney until Wednesday
P.S.
Really appreciate everyones help and honest opinions you guys have been great and I am o so thankful I recieved a response as I was stressing to the point of tears over this issue. Now I am just stressingThanks everyone for your assistance
Well the buyers angry calls of blowing up the truck stopped and the check did clear. I spoke with a friend that is an attorney an she agrees that the guy propably wouldn't know if he had a case. However, she did advise me to sit on the money for a spell and see what happens. She said if he wants to blame the truck blowing up on me then he must take it to a certified diesel mechanic and have it looked at at his expense. Then he must prove that I had something to do with it blowing up. So I do believe I'm in the clear thank god. I did tell the attorney should the buyer want me to pay for the title and tag then I would beings that was my fault. She said as long as he is able to go ahead and transfer the title then I should be fine on that as well as the title was already signed and notorized. She did however inform me that I am to never do this sort of thing again. So now I am playing the waiting game. What would you think a good amount of wait time would be???

Take back your truck otherwise you can warn to him that I will go in court for getting my payment. Hope you will do it to ask for going court and you can also take some advice from your personal lawyer.
We do ask that all posters know basic English and grammar skills.
