neologism is alive and well. . . . .

Turducken and tofurkey are words I can accept more readily than I can accept stretching the word infant to cover teenagers.

Ah, well. The English language is falling apart anyway. I guess this is just more evidence of its collapse.

there never used to be a turducken either. Now isn't that a buzzkill?

There's been versions of animal stuffed with animal stuffed with animal around since the Roman Empire (and probably earlier). The 'turducken' in the current form is said to have started in the mid '80s in Nawlins. Some say it was a creation of a butcher shop, others credit Paul Prudhomme.

Quick update:

He called me the other day -- now asking for $100. So it went from $400 to $200 to $100. He said there was a piece of wood in front of the tubes. I was just gonna pay him $100 and get if over with. However, fam & friends are thinking otherwise saying it was a safety issue, blah blah blah. The least he can do is enclose the window so the lights aren't exposed so something like this doesn't happen again.

Thanks everyone for your input.

If you do decide to pay, make sure to get something in writing saying that this is settlement in full and will release you, your son, your son's other parent and any other parties from any further liability in the matter.
