What is the name of your state? North Carolina. I have been married 33 years in which time my husband has had 2 affairs that I am aware. Two weeks ago he came home after being on a business trip for 4 days and told me he was leaving. I asked him if he was sure he was leaving and he said yes. He walked out the door and I locked the doors. He turned to come back in and I unlocked the door and walked out and told him he could come in. He got in his car and left. The next day when I came home he had been in the house to get medicine and just a few clothes.I called an attorney and he told me to have the locks changed on the doors which I did on Tuesday. He now is saying that since I have changed the locks that it is my fault and he will never be back. He is putting everything on me. He refuses to let me know where he is but says he is living in Virginia and commuting to work. Can I get him for desertion and since his salary is 3 times what I make would he be required to give me spousal support. I work part time and take care of my elderly mother in the afternoons. I cannot even pay rent and utilites on what I make. There are no minor children involved
