Is husband, who is legally separated, liable for a debt incurred by their spouse? Have been speparated for 3 years, divorce has been filed (pending), wife went out and bought furniture for herself and boyfriend and it is showing up on husbands credit report. Wife also bought car, husband went to dealer told them he did not buy car, dealer repo'd car. This is also showing up on credit report. Have filed a fraud report with police but they are so overwelmed with fraud cases it is taking too long. Can any thing be done with the creditors?
