I had wrote in this forum back in 2006 regarding my son who got a infection/breakout/leisions on his chinns/legs with a product called Static Guard. We didn't go forth with any law suit hoping this would subside and nothing else would come of it. Well it has been since 2006 and my son is having still terrible problems with his legs breaking open, bleeding, itch, burns and discoloration and cannot bath/shower without them breaking out. Seems like the cold water helps it not to break out as bad, but still breaks out some.

He cannot get in the sun it will start a break out and he said it feels like something is crawling on his legs ( maybe nerve damage?) Cannot wear long socks because it is painful. The pants/slacks brushing up against his legs also causes break out and pain.

Any advice on this would be helpful please?

what have his doctors said?

if you did not file a lawsuit in 2006, there is pretty much nothing you can do about the product now. the SOL is already up.

Not necessarily - depends on the age of the son.

Son was an adult when it happened, AND though OP posted about it in 2006, it happened a YEAR prior to THAT.

No I don't think It happen a year before. He was out working ( fiber optic installer ) on the road traveling. He came home because his Grandmother passed away and after the services we got talking and he strted telling me of this. He is 30 years old now, with a pacmaker. No baring on the Static Guard but just for your info.

The doctor he saw out of state Michigan said it would never go away he will deal with this the rest of his life.

Well, in the original thread on the topic you said it'd been a year since the incident. So that's all I have to go on.

The rest is legally irrelevant.

Also in your previous thread, you said he went to the ER. Has he EVER seen a dermatologist for this condition (which, by the way was NOT caused by Static Guard).
