What is the name of your state?Buffalo, New York

I have been through a personal injury civil suite and won the negliance and liabialty portion. I have been awarded a settlement and the appeals portion if over. It has been 2 1/12 years and still not seen any money. I have talked to my lawyer on previous occasion and have had no answers as to how much longer this will take to receive the cash settlement.

They were privately insured. At this point they are in merger with another company.

Is there a statue of limitations when the settlement shall be paid by.

does the defendant have any assets?

yes they do have assests. they are a u.s.a. food dist. with a lot of assests. the insurance portion, which they are self insured has 3,000,000.00 set aside for personal injuries. exactly how much assest beside that three million i am not sure. they are in merger with another company which started about 2 1/2 years ago.

i won a 7 figure verdict from a jury of 6 in Supreme Court and have not received anything as of this date. The Appeal which they filed has been over for some time also.
