I live in the state of GA and have a question about the statute of limitations on law suits, Back in 2001 my husband was rushed to the hospital with a heart attack. He lay in ICU for a week, and passed away. The hospital refused to accept his insurance, and I paid cash for the services after I received the life insurance. Now years later I am told that since his admission was an emergency, by law the hospital is required to accept his insurance for services. Is it too late to sue the hospital for refusing his insurance?

Far too late, I'm afraid.
