Well, they took both of our statements today and he admitted to having sex with me, and im 16. he's 24. Im wondering if marriage would do anything? Would us getting married help things? my parents dont have a problem with it, and legally, i have no idea whats going on. They said they were going to send cops over to check and see if i was there (we live together) so he brought me back to my parents house, so he wouldnt be in more trouble. I cant get ahold of the detective on the case, so ill have to talk to him tomorrow. My boyfriend also said something about the dectective saying something about the grand jury. I just got bits and peices...because he rushed me off to my parents before the police came over.

No, what he is getting charged with is a state law. They will prosecute him because what he did is illegal. It has nothing to do with your parents being okay with it.

Do they put out a warrant? do they have court? what are the steps we need to take if they do put out a warrant and pick him up and put him in jail? Will they come to our place and take him in? or wait til he gets pulled over?
