My husband and I are in the process of Adopting my 6 year old son. The biological father has been paying child support and has filed his consent with the court. We are meeting with the social worker next week and then presumably a Judge shortly after that. At what point is the biological father no longer responible to pay me support?

The day the adoption papers are signed by a judge and finalized is the day that he will stop his support to you.
