we live in georgia , unbeknownst to my husband who has joint custody of his son, his exwife and her mother have been taking my stepson to family and children services and speaking with a caseworker since may. he is saying that my husband and i fight all the time , we cuss at him, we put him down,he hates us , he wants only to come every other weekend. we went to court early this month because she would not let us have him for 2mo.therefore contempt, when we went to court the judge said that he is a minor , that he has to come and if he can't be controlled and made to come to our house that he would have him put in foster care until he could be controlled. his mom and grmother have told him that his dad is the one going to have him sent off .everything they tell him is the only thing that he believes.
we didn't know about the case worker or that he had been talking to his teacher's and counselor at school about not wanting to come to our home. we were under the impression that the problems at school were from adhd. we went to court this week and the case worker says that he should be placed with his mother. this lady has not contacted us, conducted an interview with us or visited our home when the child is present.furher more the teacher's and counselor from school have suggested the same , no one , and i mean no one from anywhere has called, mailed a letter , come by , or sent a message that this child was having a problem and that it needs to be resolved. can desicions be made without really getting all the information? we did not know anything until this week,

Why hasn't your husband contact the caseworker. Why hasn't he made an appointment with teachers and school counselors? Why, since you now know this, has he allowed it to continue?

He has to do something and now. And in person, not on the telephone!

my husband has , since i have last written, gotten in touch with the case worker's supervisor, he has learned some info about this person , and she is in hot water at the moment , i can't comment further at this time , but when it is all over i will be sure to let everyone know the ending of this matter , maybe , then other parents will not have to endure the same pain that he has, but i can assure you that things are working out for the better
