Thanks for responding. I plan on doing what you suggested. My other question is about my childs enrollment card. I am no where on this card, (I should've been the second person notified, and my ex should be the primary.) Well, my ex mother in law enrolled him in school, she is listed as the primary. Every thing on the enrollment card bothers me. They have no phone, and no phone number is on the card in case of an emergency.

Being I live in Texas, I'm just curious...I have joint custody, can my ex do this? My son has missed 15 days of school so far, have not been notified if he's been to the doctor, etc... It states in my divorce I should be....
Any info would grately be appreciated...
Thank you...

My response:

It's time to go back to court for an "Order to Show Cause" re: Child Custody.

Use all of your evidence - - the enrollment card not showing your name, and your child's attendance record, and the fact that Granny's name is listed.

It is obvious that your child's father is failing the "Joint Custody" order by excluding you, and also that you are not being notified of your child's attendance problems, or the reasons therefor.

It may be a good idea to have that custody order amended to Joint Custody, with you having physical custody - - this all assumes that you do not have an alcohol or drug problem.

Good luck to you.
