My wife has taken my son, which she is not the biological mother of,and her nephew, who we have joint custoday of and just left. I have know way of knowing where they are but she will have the baby, Tyeree, call me on the phone. Ty told me that they were at the beach somewhere. She knows very well that my life revolves around my son. She lied about an assult to get some paperwork that she could use to alter his disability payment to change the payee from myself to her. When it was time to go to court she did not show up. I guess this was because she had gotten the paperwork that she nedded. Without knowledge or consent she has taken my son. Please is there anything that I can do. I am disable due to car accidents and live on a fixed income so I do not have a lot of money to persue this but I am willing to give up everything I own to have my son back and to have this woman delt with. What age are the children? (Just curious if school age and missing school, or if possible that she has enrolled them somewhere else - could check with school to see if records have been requested)

You mention wife --- are you divorced? Have you established a custody / visitation order? If not, then legally you are not in a good position.

If I am reading you correctly, your wife has taken YOUR son, who is NOT her son and fled? Is this your son from a previous relationship? Where is his biological mother? Has your wife adopted him?

If your wife has taken a child that she has no rights to (not adopted, not bio mom, etc.), then she has kidnapped the child. Call the police and file kidnapping charges against her! Kidnapping is serious business. Sooner or later they will track her down (not as hard as you might think) and she could face serious criminal charges if she took a child that is not hers, especially if she has crossed state lines with the child.

Call Social security and get the payee changed back to you, that will slow her down. Press kidnapping charges.

Thank you all for the information. I have located my sons. Everything is not alright but they are safe and this was a major concern. I have a lot of thinking to do now about what I need to do.
