I am going to be failing Chapter 7. Should I wait and enroll in classes before filing?. Will it save me hassle getting my student loans?. It seems logical that I should but I need to know for sure

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question? What does enrolling in school have to do with bankruptcy?

I was under the impression that as long as you are current on the loans, a bk filing would not affect your status. I do see your point however. Prehaps it would be easier to be already enrolled preior to filing. You reallly ought not to be applying for credit until your bk is discharged.

Forbearence

Thanks for your reply, I am afraid I must. I am in Forbearence until March. If I do not sign up for classes this term I ll be in trouble. I need the loans as I cannot pay for classes in cash

Student loans are not dischargable!

isnt that a crock of ****e. good luck ! study hard.

I know...

Yeah, I know the loans are not dischargable that is the reason anyone can get them. Although I think under extreme circumstances the courts will allow them to be discharged.

My response: not in your case.
