What is the name of your state? NE
I was served a summons on May 31, 2004 for credit card debt for Bank of America. It is dated May 24, 2004. It does not have a date to go to court and I'm not sure what to do about this. Should I call their attorney listed in the summons? Will I have to come up with the full amount owed?

*** Please hold the summons up to the screen so that we can read it..... a little closer...... just a wee bit closer.... there, thank you. :D

***Gee, that sounds like it might be logical, huh?? Or maybe you can call the court shown on the summons and ask if a hearing has been set??

Will I have to come up with the full amount owed?
*** Probably at some point.

I was trying to be brief. Anyhow, thanks for your answers and for the professionalism that was used in giving them. If you're not a lawyer, you should be.
