What is the name of your state? Ca.

Is the following a complete and total legal wording for a supplemental (special) needs trust in the state of california so that the beneficiary will not lose ssi and medical benefits. thank you.

" The Trust estate shall then be administered for the health, education, maintenance and support needs, as they are determined in the sole discretion of the Trustee, for the beneficiary." This would be the only section of the living trust addressing the issue of the special needs beneficiary.

Second question. Can the living trust leave the remainder of the trust to the beneficiary at age 65, since at age 65 ssi and medical automatically end and are converted to ssocial security and medicare or medicaid which are not affected by an inheritance. I have never heard of anyone addressing this issue of turning the trust back to the beneficiary at that age.
