Student support.

Here is the story:
I'm 19, living with a woman, 40. WE have lived together for 8 months, and love each other very much. I lost my job, wanted to go back to school, she decided that she shouldnt live with me becuase even if she supports me as a "student" (which she wouldnt mind doing) if i leave her, i will still be entitled to her support, and possibly half of her things. she asked her lawyer, "what if he signs a waiver, or prenup "
The lawyer said, becuase of my age, in court the story wont hold out. But becuase im 19, Im legally bonded, I dont see where the problem is.
Maybe you could help shed some light.
Thanks in advance .

Are you intending to cross the border and change citizenship?

Sorry

No, I dont intend to, but im in quite a bind, and would really liketo know if anyone has heard of something like this. I dont think its a very specific question.
If you are 19 here, you are legally bonded.
I dont understand the concept of why im entitled to anyhting if im a student, and she is supporting me in her house.
Have you heard of this situation before?

here is california law.

she dont have to support you if she does not want to. if you move out you are not entitled to anything resembling support from her.

why dont you apply for some student aid or loans instead of sponging off the old lady? and get another job.
