What is the name of your state? Massachusetts
I currently receive child support for my 2 kids ages 14 & 18 who live with me. The oldest is a full time college student and has been working and saving. He/she now is looking to buy a condo while continuing in college full time. Will his/er moving into his/her own place effect the amount of child support the father is required to pay?

Running out of money

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seven months ago I moved out from an abusive controlling marriage and took the children with me. (ages 14 & 19). My husband is now more angry and vindictive than ever......

Being vague

The reason I put he/she is because my ex searches this (and other) forums for information I might be posting. I've already had to change my log in name because of him. Before you ask.... While we were beginning the divorce proceedings he told me he found my posting and got very angry about a question I posted.

When you had your last modification did you disclose the fact that your oldest was working and include that income in your support calculations?

if the kid is working and living in thier own home and not with a parent or dorm, the ex may have case for emancipation
