My brother is divorced now, but was legally married when a fire occurred at the house he and his ex-wife shared. The ex wife filed all insurance claims and eventually had to hire an attorney to deal with the insurance company. She apparently did not pay the attorney and he has garnished her wages as well as my brothers. My brother was not served any papers or notified in any way that this was coming. What can he do?
