What is the name of your state? Wisconsin
We are suing our neighbors to remove structures that they have built on our property. We have had 2 surveys done that showed the encroachments. They wanted their own survey and had it done in early January. Their attorney states they are still waiting for that survey. Is that a bit too long? We had our first survey done in early May of 2003 and had it back within 6 weeks. The next survey was back within 2 weeks. Just wondering if the time they are taking is out of line.

**A: that's what happens when they hire the cheapest surveyor who uses a 12" ruler.

According to our attorney he is the surveyor that the neighboring county uses. Makes me think they have the survey back and it has showed exactly the same as ours.

Yes, that's why they aren't saying anything. Call the survey company up and ask them when they completed it.
