What is the name of your state? Indiana

Okay I spoke witha lawyer today about my custody issues. 2 kids age 4 and 5. Dad in another state and presuring me about extra extra long rediculous summer vacations like 6 months. Some thing that would interfere with school. She told me to do nothing, since there are no court orders at all she told me just to let him take me to court and untill he does there realy is no reason to do anything about it. She said what ever I do do not let the children leave the state but offer him visitation if he is willing to come and visit them where I am. I guess she is right. If we can't agree and he won't see whats important then he'll just have to get a visitation order. That eased my mind alot. The only thing I worry about is if he ever comes to see the kids now. He feels he has no financial obligation to them and if it has been 3 years since we seperated and he hasn't gone to the court to seek official visitation he probly never will. What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

Odds are he won't take it to court. Taking it to court would also obligate him for child support. However, if he does take it to court then that would likely demonstrate his sincerity regarding the children.
