What is the name of your state? Georgia
My 14 year old son decided 4 months ago to go live with his father. His father and I went to court and the judge issued a temporary custody order based on an interview with my son. Remarkably, the judge told both my ex-husband and I that his hands were tied - Georgia law REQUIRES that the wishes of a 14 year old be honored. However, the judge felt that my son had been "coaxed" into going to live with his father (by the promise of various goodies, etc.) and he was under no obligation to make the order permanent yet. Lo and behold, my son came to me over the weekend and said that it was not as wonderful as he thought it was going to be and he wants to resume living with me. What do I do next? Just go back to court as usual? Thanks so much for any help!
